MaST awarded Presidential Youth Fitness Program Funding

The funding opportunity that has been granted to MaST Charter School supports participation in the Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP) for a period of three years. It provides eligible schools with the supplemental resources that can be used to support the PYFP model.  This includes software, professional development for physical educators, and recognition items for students.

The Presidential Youth Fitness Program is a national program that includes fitness assessment, professional development, and recognition. Schools can adopt the program to assess, track, and award youth fitness and physical activity.

The program will be used in High School Physical Education classes.
