AMP sponsored our annual Holiday Gift Shop on Thursday, December 5th and Friday, December 6th for our kindergarten through 6th grade students. They had a wide range of family-oriented gifts, which includes all members of the family.
Middle School Basketball and Cheerleading
MaST Students participated in the 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade. This is the oldest parade in the country and a true Philadelphia tradition. Congratulations MaST Students, job well done!
In the spirit of Jon J. Muth’s retelling of the classic folktale Stone Soup, where three monks teach villagers the importance of community, our third grade children participated in cooking, decorating the classroom, and enjoying their own banquet version of Stone Soup. Their secret to cooking a successful pot of Stone Soup was simply adding real stones to the pot!
MaST Fifth Grade attended three fun filled days at College Settlement Camp. Students worked together on challenges and outdoors lessons. They were challenged to work as a team to solve problems and meet adventures. The students participated in lessons on respecting our Earth and not wasting food and supplies. These pictures depict some of the fun experienced by both students and teachers at The Outdoor School.

11 of our students have been selected to attend the Taco Bell Greater Philadelphia College Workshop at LaSalle University. The workshop will give 500 high school juniors and seniors from throughout the region the chance to come together for a day of educational opportunities. The students will meet with representatives from more than 40 higher learning institutions and have a chance to win a scholarship worth up to $5,000!
