We Are The Champions – MS Boys’ Baseball
Congratulations to the Middle School Boys’ Baseball Team on their Championship this year!
The MaST Middle School Baseball Team capped off a wonderful season winning the championship last Tuesday. The game was played against Maritime Charter who fell to MaST earlier in the year 4-2, then tied the Panthers just two weeks prior to the championship.
Sean Moran pitched five strong innings only yielding one (unearned) run. Seventh graders Lance Farlow and Aidan Mulholland did a great job in the 1 and 2 positions in the batting order. While eighth graders, Christian Gessley, Ryan Holmes, Sean Allendorf, Kevin Henehan, and Brendan Lash all played a vital role in the huge win. But it was 8th grader Andrew Sicinski, who propelled the Panthers to a title going 4 for 4 with a single, two doubles, and a 2-run homer!
MaST was down 1-0 after two innings, but the bats were awakened in the third and the runs starting booming. Both teams played great and had terrific seasons. Congratulations to the MaST Panthers who captured their second title in the last three years.
