MaST COMMUNITY CHARTER SCHOOL NAMED TOP CHARTER IN PA AND 30TH IN THE UNITED STATES

PHILADELPHIA (August 6th, 2015) – MaST Community Charter School was recently chosen as the top charter school in Pennsylvania and the 30th overall charter school in the United States according to niche.com.

Niche was founded in 2002 by Carnegie Mellon University students as a way to inform parents of K-12 education options in their area. Various factors are taken into their methodology including: academic grades, health and safety, student culture and diversity, parent and student survey responses, teacher grades, extracurricular activities, resources and facilities, and sports and fitness.

MaST Community Charter School’s curriculum is based around Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts and Math (STREAM). The STREAM model provides students with even more hands-on and creative activities and lessons.
